On Being An Anti-Racist Parent
Today, we talk about one of the biggest problems that has every existed: Racism.
Racism is a very pernicious thing. It is easy to say that we aren't racist, but it is harder to recognize we all benefit from structural racism in our societies. How do we start looking at our own unconscious biases and the ways white privilege affects our lives, and teach our kids to be anti-racist?
We have the ability to raise a generation of children who are anti-racist as long as we are being active and intentional about it. There are loads of resources that parents can use to talk to their kids about racism. Here are some of them:
