Jen founded her practice in 2014 with the sole focus of providing cutting edge clinical care for the children of The Berkshires, dealing with issues such as Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.
Prior to founding, Jen spent more than a decade working in the Education and Mental Health fields, specializing in working with children and adolescents with complex trauma, mental health and learning needs. She's practiced within the Allentown School District and the Lehigh Valley Health and Hospital Network in Pennsylvania, as well as locally within the Berkshire Hills Regional School District.
One of her proudest accomplishments was co-authoring the S.E.L.F. Psychoeducational Group Curriculum through The Sanctuary Institute, a world-renowned leader in Trauma Informed care. The SELF model is considered the Gold Standard in trauma informed care throughout the world. Jen has also had the opportunity to develop group therapy protocols for some of the nations leading academic institutions through online therapy platforms.
Jen has extensive training in trauma, attachment, and learning differences, and she is well regarded in the community. She's known for bridging the divides between children and their parents, as well as between families and the institutions in which they participate.
Currently, Jen serves on the boards of Berkshire Pulse, a nonprofit performing arts school, & The Center for Peace Through Culture, she also serves on Parish Council at Monterey UCC, Laymember of the Berkshire Association of the UCC, and is a member of the Planning Board for the Town of Otis.
In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her therapy dog Ruthie, woodworking, exploring the natural beauty of The Berkshires, and being a huge Harry Potter fan (Ravenclaw, if you're wondering).
